Hi, I'm Rox, I am interested in the history of women, medicine and herbs and how this history has an impact on shaping our current culture. I see the remembering of our history, reclaiming the feminine, empowering women, finding our voice and reconnecting with the land as a powerful, radical and defiant act against the forces that seek to shoehorn us into big pharma (don't get me wrong I am not against doctors), homogenous corporations and continued imperialism. I am a human rights activist involved in various local and global groups and projects to raising awareness and aiming to improve the quality of peoples lives.

I believe herbalism can be a practice for liberation, mutual aid, solidarity, building community, self empowerment and dealing with climate change and community resilience.
I a forager and community herbalist. I run foraging walks for tourists and locals to showcase our wild food and medicine and empower people to reconnect with the land.

I offer workshops for women on women's health, the history of women's medicine, connecting with the land and ancestral herbalism.

I offer workshops and one-to-one consultations on food and herbs as medicine.

I am the founder of the non-profit Movement in Thyme CIC and Historical Herbalists, a volunteer organiser with the Mobile Herbal Clinic Calais (First aid clinic for refugees in Calais), ambassador for the Herb Society UK, one of the organisers of the Scottish Wild Food Festival, and a member of The Association of Foragers, West Stirling friends of Palestine, and The Global Network Against Harmful Practices.

I am based in Scotland in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. I look forward to welcoming you on a walk, a workshop, a yoga class, a retreat or to stay in our Sage's Cabin.
