Hi, I'm Rox a British-Persian mind-body therapist and community herbalist.  I work in the realm of community herbalism, movement, and promoting accessible wellbeing for all.  I am particularly drawn to supporting refugees, human rights, and the earth as a being in its own right.  I work with the innate healing of the body and the wisdom of our plant teachers and ancestral guides, exploring liminality and threshold states and how better to connect people to the land they are on.

I am particularly interested in the ways of the wise women, the land-based witch, of feminine ancestral wisdom, seeing everything as having consciousness, weaving together magic, mystery, sacred crafting, science embodiment and art to bring healing, and to how this can transform us to become creators of our lives, activists for global peace and environmental protection

I find food culture, culinary medicine and herbal medicine fascinating.  As a women and a mother I find that I am drawn to work in this area of women and family healing, but I am equally passionate about building community resilience and strength through herbal and food knowledge.

I am the founder of the non-profit Movement in Thyme CIC and Historical Herbalists, a volunteer organiser with the Mobile Herbal Clinic Calais (First aid clinic for refugees in Calais), ambassador for the Herb Society UK, one of the organisers of the Scottish Wild Food Festival, a member of The Association of Foragers..

I am based in Scotland in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.  I look forward to welcoming you on a walk, a workshop, a yoga class, a retreat or to stay in our Sage's Cabin.
