New Mother's Circles

Motherhood is hard and everywhere you hear 'it takes a village to raise a child' leaving you wondering where is my village?  Who can I talk to when things are hard?  You might be tired and overwhelmed, feel isolated or want to debrief about your birth or new body with other people who understand.

If you need some guilt-free 'me' time to chat to other mums, welcome to our New Mother's Circle.

The first half of the session is a sharing circle.  A sharing circle is a safe space where you can honestly share about your experiences, thoughts and feelings.  It is a non-judgemental, confidential space.  When someone is talking everyone in the circle practices active listening, listening without giving any advice, instead we really hear and support the storyteller with our loving mindful presence.

The second half of the session is an activity.  The activity will be show you how you can incorporate simple herbal remedies to support you in the theme of the week.

This is a 4-week circle with a private WhatsApp group for support and sharing.

Week 1

Birth - Honest sharing about your birth story in a safe supported, non-judgemental space.

Activity - Blending a relaxing herbal tea to take away and to support you at this transitional time.

Week 2

Self-care - Exploring and sharing different ways to look after yourself without feeling guilty.

Activity - Relaxing with a herbal footbath and restorative herbal eye compress and making bath salts.
