Little Alchemists Club
Welcome to the witches cottage at Gartur Stitch Farm, leave the mundane world behind you and step in myth and magic, as you become a little alchemist apprentice. With a bit of this, a pinch of that and say the magic words.... We will be making child-friendly herbal remedies which can be used in your home apothecary.
Feel free to come dressed up to really get into the spirit.
This is a family event on a working smallholding, you might be lucky enough to see some baby goats!
The Little Alchemists Club is for families to learn together about foraging and herbal medicine.

The Wilderness Clan - Forest Club - by Movement in Thyme CIC
Set in the stunning Queen Elizabeth Forest, Aberfolyle, the Wilderness Clan is a sensory journey through the seasons for primary and pre-school aged children
The Blaeberries are our under 5's group and The Brambles our 5 to 11 years group.
Each month we will explore different aspects of the season through nature crafts, games, music and play.
Please bring snacks and drinks for your child as these will not be provided.
Children participating in The Blaeberries clan MUST be accompanied by a parent or carer.
Please let us know if your child has any allergies/intolerances/special needs.
There are toilets in the visitors centre.
This is an outdoor event so please ensure your child is dressed for the weather which, in Scotland, can include rain, sun, snow, sleet, ice in one day. Waterproof jacket, boots/wellies are essential and trousers if possible as well.
At Movement In Thyme we believe that movement, herbal knowledge and nature connection are the cornerstones to wellbeing. We believe that everyone has the right to this knowledge and as such we work hard to bring it to under served diverse communities in Central Scotland.
